Lifestyle series Alive & Well with Michelle Harris debuts on ION Life September 1 at 130p. The new daily magazine series joins ION Life, a 24/7 digital TV network that is distributed via Comcast, Mediacom, AT&T U-Verse and Verizon FiOS and is owned and operated by ION Media Networks. The series merges green living with celebrity glam as it focuses on celebrity beauty and fitness tips, eco-friendly style and fashion, deluxe spa destinations, gourmet organic foods and more.

Docu-reality series the A-List on Logo travels to Dallas for its next edition featuring a cast of socialite men and women who revel in all things fabulous, the dramatic, food and fashion. The A-List: Dallas premieres October 3 at 10p with eleven one-hour episodes. True Entertainment, behind Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta produces the series.

Citing viewer demand, TLC is airing four all-new episodes of Toddlers & Tiaras beginning this Wednesday at 10p. Additional new episodes will also return on TLC in December. The four late summer eps are scheduled for August 24 and 31 as well as September 7 and 14. Authentic Entertainment produces the series for TLC.

In other ABC news, the network okayed a drama project, Hyde based on the 1886 classic horror novel The Strange Case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. The project is from ABC Studios and Sheldon Turner, co-writer of Up in the Air. Hyde is about Grant Hyde, a doctor with an eye condition who suffers from bizarre side effects after using an experimental antidote to improve his vision. When Grant goes to sleep, he becomes Hyde, a fearless individual who is the opposite of his personality. Turner will write and serve as executive producer along with Jennifer Klein through their newly-formed production company Vendetta.

NBC’s upcoming drama series The Firm began production last Thursday in Toronto. Tricia Helfer joined the cast in a recurring role as Alex Clark and Shaun Majumder also was added to the cast playing Andrew Palmer. The Firm is a one-hour series based on the novel by John Grisham and will be simulcast on Global and NBC in addition to Sony’s AXN networks in 125+ territories globally. The series is produced by eOne in association with Sony Pictures Television Networks and Paramount Pictures.

Season two of HBO’s Game of Thrones is expanding its filming beyond the home production base of Belfast, Ireland. Croatia is the location for some of the Southern scenes while Iceland is the location for the Northern scenes.

Discovery Networks International is moving forward on a pilot titled Swinger Wives for specific markets on TLC International. The plot, set in Atlanta, GA, follows four average American couples who lead typical married lives with children and careers though behind closed doors these husbands and wives lead double lives as swingers. Swinger Wives is produced by Peter Franchella, Al Szymanski, Aaron Rothman, Cherie Kloss and Nick Budabin for Red Line Films and by Jon Sechrist for TLC International.
