On Friday, Bravo President Frances Berwick said the network will re-edit episodes of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills following the alleged suicide of Russell Armstrong, the husband of series star Taylor Armstrong. The re-editing process is underway and the network said the series could still make its planned September 5 season two premiere. The series is produced by Evolution Film & Tape.

When the sophomore season of WE tv’s original series Braxton Family Values premieres with 19 episodes, the series moves to a new night on Thursdays beginning November 10 at 9p. The upcoming season, featuring the five Braxton sisters answers a slew of questions about what each is up to.

Actor Ryan Reynolds is wearing an executive producer’s hat as his production company DarkFire, launched recently with Allan Loeb, sold its first project to FOX. The project is a single-camera buddy comedy titled Guidance from 20^th Century Fox Television and Tyler Labine (Mad Love) is set to star and also serving as executive producer. Guidance is described as an adult buddy comedy set in high school. Tim Dowling is also on board as writer and executive producer. FOX has approved a premium script with penalty attached.

The final season of ABC’s Desperate Housewives adds two to its cast: Andrea Parker (Less Than Perfect) joins as the new girlfriend of Tom Scavo (Doug Savant) whose marriage to Lynette (Felicity Huffman) dissolved in season seven. Miguel Ferrer (Lifetime’s The Protector) also joins in a recurring role playing Andre Zeller, a famous and temperamental contemporary artist who is teaching a course at the local college where Susan (Teri Hatcher) is taking an art class. Desperate Housewives launches its eighth and final season on ABC September 25.
