Making it official as of yesterday, Harry Smith moves to NBC News from CBS News to become a correspondent, effective July 18. Smith will contribute reports to NBC’s upcoming primetime hour-long news magazine program anchored by Brian Williams. Culinary competition series, The Great Food Truck Race gears up for a new second season on Food Network starting August 14 at 10p following the finale of Food Network Star. Tyler Florence hosts the series where eight top food trucks in the US compete for a grand prize of $100,000. The food trucks spend one weekend in each city featured, selling from their mobile kitchens as well as competing in various challenges. Special guest stars during the sophomore season include Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts and NFL Hall of Famer John Elway. After The Great Food Truck Race debuts, the show will move to its regular time period of Sundays at 9p.
