CBC Corporation forged a two-year, non-exclusive international licensing deal with Netflix, Inc. allowing certain CBS TV shows to be streamed instantly to Netflix subscribers in Canada and Latin America starting in September. This new agreement comes after a separate domestic deal between CBS and Netflix finalized last February. Terms of the new deal were not revealed.

A sophomore season is on tap for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills opening September 5 at 9p on Bravo. Six of the housewives from season one will return along with two new friends, Brandi Glanville and Dana Wilkey. Evolution Media produces the series for Bravo.

TLC’s series franchise Say Yes to the Dress said yes to a second season of Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids. The network committed to 18 half-hour episodes scheduled to debut in March 2012. The first season of Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids averaged 1.7 million total viewers. NorthSouth Productions produces the series for TLC.

On Monday, TeenNick launched its late-night The ’90s Are All That block featuring four 1990s shows airing from 12a-2a. The two-hour block averaged a 1.3 rating and 417,000 among A12-24, representing a +225% increase compared to the previous year. The new block, consisting of All That (1996), Kenan & Kel (1995), Clarissa Explains It All (1992) and Doug (1991) also delivered an average rating of 0.6 and 229,000 viewers with A18-34 which is a +500% increase. In addition, 555,000 total viewers also tuned in to the block’s first night.

Tuesday night’s season six finale of A&E Network’s series Gene Simmons Family Jewels at 10p finished with 1.7 million viewers with A18-49 and 1.9 million among A25-54. The sixth season of Gene Simmons Family Jewels became the most-watched season ever for the series with an average of 1.2 million A25-54; 1.1 million A18-49; and 1.8 million total viewers. Fresh episodes of Gene Simmons Family Jewels will be back on A&E starting September 6 at 10p. The series is produced by Thinkfactory Media and the Gene Simmons Company.
