Season two of The Walking Dead debuts on AMC October 16 at 9p. As with its series launch last year, The Walking Dead opens its second season as part of the network’s annual Fearfest, a marathon of thriller and horror films in its 15th year. The Walking Dead has 13 total episodes for its new season which is based on the comic book penned by Robert Kirkman and published by Skybound and Image comics.

Well-known blogger and cookbook author Ree Drummond stars in a new Food Network series The Pioneer Woman beginning August 27 at 1130a. The series is shot on location at Drummond’s own Oklahoma ranch and is inspired by her food and lifestyle blog, The Pioneer Woman chronicling her life as a city girl-turned-rancher-wife. A sneak preview of the new series will be available starting August 22 at 9a at www.foodnetwork.com/pioneerwoman.

Yesterday morning at Comic-Con, Brad Falchuk, co-creator and executive producer of FOX’s Glee said even though several of the show’s characters’ will be graduating during the upcoming third season, these same characters will return for a fourth season. Falchuk was referring to the characters played by Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith. Additionally, Chord Overstreet will not be rejoining Glee this fall even though Falchuk said the actor was offered a 10-episode role with the possible opportunity of becoming a series regular by midseason.
