Fans as well as advertisers stepped up in an effort to save cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life to Live. It was announced yesterday both soaps are saved with a new licensing agreement involving media and production company Prospect Park. Disney/ABC Domestic Television Group brokered the deal which allows Prospect Park to continue production of the soaps. Prospect Park will produce and deliver the daytime dramas using their current formats and one-hour length via online platforms and to internet-capable TVs. All My Children is ending its run on ABC September 23 and One Life to Live in January. “I’m just so happy that ABC found a home where the legacies of All My Children and One Life to Live can continue. I’m excited for their future with Prospect Park,” said Agnes Nixon, creator of both shows.
