Fans of ABC’s All My Children say good-bye to the soap when the final episode airs September 23. Before AMC ends, a number of the soap’s alumni return for the series finale including Josh Duhamel, Carol Burnett, Eva La Rue, Thorsten Kaye, Kate Collins, Jennifer Bassey, Melissa Claire Egan and Leven Rambin. AMC launched on ABC January 5, 1970. Taking its place, ABC premieres new show The Chew on September 26 at 1p. Hosted by an ensemble group including Clinton Kelly (What Not to Wear), Carla Hall (Top Chef), Mario Batali (Food Network), Michael Symon and author Daphne Oz, they will talk about food and host various segments centered on food pertaining to cooking, health and fitness and family.

Soon after its first season finale aired, NBC said all four musician coaches will be back for the next season of The Voice. Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton return when The Voice debuts season two mid-season in the Monday 8-10p time slot following The
Sing-Off
which premieres this fall in the same time period. The Voice averaged 10.8 million total viewers for its season conclusion on Wednesday.

Beginning July 11, Fox News Channel launches a weekday show, The Five at 5p which replaces Glenn Beck which signed off officially yesterday. The Five features a rotating roundtable of five Fox News personalities charged with debating and discussing news stories and issues of the day. Some of the FNC personalities involved include Juan Williams, Dana Perino and Geraldo Rivera. All next week, FNC airs encores of Glenn Beck at 5p and today the network airs What Makes America Great hosted by John Stossel.
