G4 will resume airing its series G4’s Proving Ground starring the late Ryan Dunn as co-host starting July 19. Mr. Dunn died in a car crash last week and following that news, the network temporarily pulled the show off its lineup. Before the July 19 episode of Proving Ground airs, G4 will air a special episode of Attack of the Show! as tribute to Mr. Dunn’s life and career.

Long-time Survivor host, Jeff Probst inked a deal with CBS Television Distribution to develop a first-run talk show pegged to premiere in fall 2012. The one-hour, daytime talk show will focus on topics involving current newsmakers to families and individual facing personal trials. Probst has hosted all 22 installments of CBS’ reality show Survivor and also serves as the show’s executive producer. His talk show experience includes sub stint on Live With Regis and Kelly, and he has sat in as a regular guest host for Larry King on CNN’s Larry King Live.

Before ABC’s daytime soap One Life to Live ends next January, Erin Torpey rejoins the cast though not as her original character but in a new role. Torpey played the role of Jessica for more than 10 years and since 2003 the role has been portrayed by Bree Williamson.

Syndicated game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, hosted by Meredith Vieira will launch its tenth season on September 5. Prior to this new season, show producers are hosting contestant auditions in six cities. Auditions will take place in Harrisburg, PA July 11; Charlotte, NC July 13; Chicago July 15; Washington, D.C. July 25; Tampa July 27; and Las Vegas July 29. The auditions will include a timed multiple choice test and those who pass will be granted an interview with a show producer. Two audition rounds will be held in each of the six cities from 7a to 11a and again from 430p to 530p. No pre-registration is required and people can queue up for an audition at any time during those sessions. Interested contestants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the 50 United States or District of Columbia.
