Season three of Celebrity Ghost Stories premieres June 18 at 9p on BIO Channel featuring first-person narrative stories from celebrities such as Regis Philbin, Harry Hamlin, Ana Gasteyer, Jaime King and Jerry Stiller among many others. Following at 10p, BIO launches new series Celebrity Close Calls where noted celebrities relate true stories of events that almost ended in death. Russell Hantz, a Survivor series contestant is featured in his own show Flipped on A&E Network. The network ordered seven one-hour episodes from Departure Films shadowing Hantz and his family as they flip houses in the Houston area, trying to buy low, renovate cheap and sell high. Former 70s star Mackenzie Phillips (One Day at a Time, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew) is working with reality and lifestyle production company, 44 Blue Productions to develop and produce a nonfiction series, No Relapse with Mackenzie Phillips. The premise of the show has Phillips pursuing a degree as a certified drug and alcohol addiction counselor and she takes these new skills and applies them to her work with recovering addicts. Phillips’ producing partner, Susan Gold is also involved in the project.
