In a move marking a first-time cross-over promotion between NBC and a Comcast cable channel, NBC will air the two-part season finale of G4’s American Ninja Warrior extreme obstacle course series.  The third season ender of American Ninja Warrior will air this fall following the season’s return on G4 in August.

Five young women aspiring to make it big in the music industry are the centerpiece of MTV’s new series The Electric Barbarellas, debuting May 4 at 11p.  The five women live, work and play together in this docu-series which chronicles how this all-girl band came together and strives for stardom throughout the six episodes.  Go Go Luckey Entertainment and Outrageous Entertainment produces the series.

A new scripted comedy series on VH1 explores what single women really want in a relationship when Single Ladies premieres June 6 at 9p.  The ten-episode one-hour series follows a two-hour movie event sporting the same name debuting on VH1 May 30 at 9p.  VH1 and Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment are behind the projects and marks the first time the network ventures into a one-hour scripted series.  Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy and Charity Shea star as three best friends living and working in Atlanta with different views on relationships. In addition, Kassandra Clementi also stars and becomes part of the ladies’ circle.

Spike TV renewed its first-ever original scripted comedy series, Blue Mountain State for a third season with 13 episodes.  Blue Mountain State is about the on- and off-field activities of the college football team at Blue Mountain State led by Coach Daniels (Ed Marinaro).  Denise Richards will also be back reprising her role as Daniels’ attractive though sharp-tongued ex-wife.  The series is produced by Varsity Pictures.

Logo’s third season finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race Monday at 10p posted a 0.8 among A18-49 and 585,000 total viewers.  The concluding episode ended the highest-rated season for Logo ever. Also at 11p, the season finale of Untucked: RuPaul’s Drag Race delivered a 0.4 with A18-49.

Actress/producer/director Demi Moore signed an agreement with Lifetime Television involving multiple projects including the new one-hour interview series, The Conversation.  Hosted by British television personality and well-known photographer, Amanda de Cadenet, The Conversation offers a fresh and intimate perspective on celebrity interviews with famous women and is based on de Cadenet’s web series. Eight episodes of The Conversation will be produced by decadenet, Inc. with Moore and de Cadenet serving as executive producers along with Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and David Hillman of Lifetime Television.  Andrew Fried will also co-executive produce The Conversation.  Beyond The Conversation, Moore will also develop two other scripted dramas for Lifetime and serve as executive producer.
