New home renovation series Spouse vs. House (formerly titled Mad About The House) featuring design expert Ryan Brown premieres on TLC May 4 at 10p following the series Extreme Couponing.  In each of the six episodes of Spouse vs. House, a couple is given $25,000 to re-do three rooms in their home though before any design decisions are made, the wife is told she has to move out for three weeks, while the husband handles the renovation by himself.  Meanwhile, the wife is working with Ryan Brown to create her dream space in a replicated room in a “doll house.”  When the two looks are revealed the couple discovers if their style choices are similar or far apart.  Pilgrim Films and Television is behind Spouse vs. House which is based on a format by Renegade Pictures (UK) Ltd. for TLC.

Tonight, NBC presents a 12-minute sneak peak of its upcoming singing competition series The Voice hosted by Carson Daly at 1135p just before The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  The preview will feature The Voice’s four pro musician coaches, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.  Also this Saturday at 1130p, NBC will air a two-minute version of the sneak peak before SNL. The Voice officially premieres April 26 at 9p and a second episode airs at 9p on May 3.  Beginning May 10, The Voice will air on Tuesdays at 8p.

Ricki Lake considers a return to syndicated television as host of a new talk show.  Lake signed a development deal with Twentieth Television for a possible one-hour syndicated show rolling out in fall 2012.  The program would be based in Los Angeles and the topics discussed on the show would likely be relevant to Lake’s personal experiences involving family, marriage, parenting, divorce, weight loss and overall well-being.

Two more original cast mates of the series Dallas will join TNT’s new Dallas pilot, cites TV GuideCharlene Tilton reprises her role of Lucy Ewing, J.R.’s niece and Steve Kanaly is back as Ray Krebbs, the former Southfork ranch hand who discovered he is J.R.’s half-brother.  TNT’s Dallas pilot begins its production schedule in Texas later this month or next month.  Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray were previously confirmed to appear in the pilot.

A new foodie reality series is in the works for VH1 titled Famous Food featuring seven celebrities who are handed the opportunity to launch a West Hollywood restaurant.  The celebrities involved are Heidi Montag, Danielle Staub, Jake Pavelka, DJ Paul, Juicy “J”, Ashley Dupre and Vincent Pastore and together they will renovate the location, create the menu and more. VH1 gave the project ten episodes with a planned fall premiere.
