Scripted comedy series The Game continues its Renaissance on BET as the network renewed the series for a fifth season.  The Game’s most recent season premiere tallied 7.7 million for BET and its recent finale brought in 4.4 million total viewers.  In 2009, The CW Network cancelled The Game and BET picked up the series.  In addition, BET also granted a sophomore season renewal for the comedy Let’s Stay Together which averaged close to 3.0 million viewers over its first season. BET also is adding another new series to its lineup with Reed Between the Lines, starring Tracee Ellis Ross (Girlfriends) as a woman balancing three jobs, being a mom, wife and a successful psychiatrist.  Kellie Griffin is on board to write Reed Between the Lines.

Investigation Discovery gave an additional order of 26 episodes to series Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry? for its second season.  The half-hour series relating secrets about men who misled unsuspecting brides will debut July 13 at 10p.  Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry? is produced by Sirens Media. Furthermore, Investigation Discovery will tie this series in with the Royal Wedding with a Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry? marathon on April 30 beginning at 5p.

Alan Cumming offered a new three-year agreement to continue in his role as campaign strategist Eli Gold on CBS’ The Good Wife.  At the start of this current second season, Cumming was upped to a series regular after recurring during the frosh season.  CBS has yet to renew The Good Wife, though for a third season as well as a fourth or fifth season.
