CBS ordered the new reality series, Same Name where celebrities trade places with ordinary people who happen to share the same name. The one-hour series will launch this summer and each episode follows the celebrity and the same name person as they switch lives for one week, meeting and interacting with each other’s families, friends and co-workers and living in each other’s houses. The pilot episode follows personality David Hasselhoff as he goes to Lake Jackson, TX to meet and trade places with 27-year old high voltage power technician/landscaper who also bears the name David Hasselhoff. Same Name is produced by Cris Abrego Productions, LLC.

Adventure-dating reality series Love in the Wild debuts on NBC June 1 at 10p. Produced by Endemol USA, the reality series takes ten single men and ten single women searching for love to the jungle in Costa Rica where they pair up on various quests. Darren McMullen hosts the new series.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is set to star in another comedy series as HBO approved her latest project Veep to series. Louis-Dreyfus will play former Senator Selina Meyer who becomes Vice President and realizes her image of the job is not what she thought. Armando Iannucci wrote the script and also directs and executive produces Veep while Chris Godsick and Frank Rich will also serve as executive producers. Set in Washington, D.C., Veep also co-stars Anna Chlumsky and Tony Hale.

CASTING CALL
Ava Parnass (ListenToMePlease) in association with www.kids-make-movies.com is casting for real kids in New York City to be part of a television pilot series. The show is looking for ten 7-9 year old kids, five boys and five girls who are outgoing, talkative and happy to dance and sing on camera. The kids also need to sit still and talk on camera about social emotional skills, play, school, friends and other topics. The tentative filming date is May 22 from 3:30p until about 7:30p at Bravo GreenScreen Studio. The selected kids will need to learn two songs and one line.
