FX’s drama pilot American Horror Story signed Jessica Lange in a leading role playing opposite Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights).  This is the first time Lange, who has won two Oscars, ventures into series television.  The plot of American Horror Story from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk remains unknown though the pilot lists two main characters, Ben Harmon a sensitive therapist and his bold and beautiful wife (Britton). Lange will play their nosy neighbor.  Ryan and Murphy are reworking the script to make Lange’s role a third lead position.  20th Century Fox Television is producing.
