A trio of reality series will return on NBC during the 2011-2012 season as the network renewed The Sing-Off, The Biggest Loser and Who Do You Think You Are?. In its last run, The Sing-Off averaged a 3.2/8 among A18-49 and 9.2 million viewers; The Biggest Loser so far this season has averaged a 3.1/8 with A18-49 and 9.0 million viewers; and the current sophomore season of Who Do You Think You Are? is averaging a 1.4/4 A18-49 and 7.0 million viewers.

CBS made a two-year streaming deal with Netflix involving television series from its library beginning this April. The deal includes episodes of such series as Medium and Flashpoint as well as full seasons of classic sitcoms Cheers and Frasier. The deal’s financial terms were not disclosed. As part of the deal, CBS can renew the agreement for up to two more years.

A new home renovation series, Mad About the House was approved by TLC, cites Variety. The series gives couples $25,000 to renovate three rooms in their house with the twist being the woman moves out while the man makes the design decisions. Meanwhile, the woman is working with a designer to create her dream space in a replicate room. When both rooms are revealed, the couple finds out if their design styles are similar. TLC ordered six one-hour episodes from Pilgrim Films and Television. Production has begun and a May premiere is scheduled.
