MTV will premiere Britney Spears Video “Hold It Against Me” at 9:55pm tonight (right before “Jersey Shore”).
GSN introduces a new original spring programming lineup starting April 11 with the launch of Love Triangle hosted by Wendy Williams at 7p followed by the premiere of Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza at 8p. Wedged between these two shows is Baggage with host Jerry Springer airing at 730p. On April 18, GSN will debut a new season of The Newlywed Game helmed by Sherri Shepherd at 6:30p. Each night, the first three half-hour shows form a “love block” of relationship-themed shows for the network: The Newlywed Game, Love Triangle and Baggage with Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza following directly after.

Starting next Wednesday, New Yorkers can view the actual golden Oscar statuettes that will be presented to the Best Actor and Best Actress winners at the 83rd Academy Awards. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences presents “Meet the Oscars, Grand Central” showcasing the Oscars on display at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal with Oscar-winner Whoopi Goldberg hosting the opening ceremony on Wednesday at 1p. Admission is free to the public. Then on February 25, the statuettes will journey to Hollywood where they will be presented February 27 during the Academy Awards presentation on ABC.

Henry Winkler, best known for his role as the Fonz on Happy Days and more recently appearing on USA Network’s Royal Pains, will get the royal treatment from the Queen of England. Winkler will become one of only four people outside the UK to receive an Order of the British Empire in 2011. He is receiving the honor for his work with learning-challenged children in the UK. Winkler’s award will be presented at a special ceremony later this year in Washington.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network premiered four new series this week and reported the results:
- Monday’s debut of Searching For . . . at 9p posted a 0.19 rating among W25-54 and delivered 291,000 total viewers.
- On Tuesday, OWN launched acquired series What Would You Do: OWN Edition at 8p and posted a 0.28 W25-54 rating and 328,000 total viewers; new series Breaking Down the Bars at 9p bumped the ratings to a 0.28 W25-54 rating and 366,000 total viewers; and Our America with Lisa Ling bowed at 10p and continued the ratings growth to a 0.41 W25-54 and 574,000 total viewers.

Laura Prepon (That ’70s Show) will play comedienne Chelsea Handler in Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea in the multi-camera comedy pilot for NBC. The plot is based on Handler’s autobiography of the same title about her life in her 20s. Dottie Zicklin and Julie Larson are writing and executive producing along with Handler.
