President Barack Obama will do his State Of The Union Address tonight at 9pm airing live on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Univision, CNN, CNBC, FOX News, MSNBC.
ABC is adding the Mark Burnett-produced reality competition series Shark Tank back to its schedule beginning March 25 at 8p. During the new sophomore season, businessman Mark Cuban and comedian Jeff Foxworthy will make appearances among others. Shark Tank will air its eight all-new episodes in Supernanny’s current Friday night time period.

MTV is bringing back a second season of My Life As Liz starting February 8 at 11p with 12 fresh episodes. The new season follows the life and experiences of Liz Lee as she leaves her small Texas town and heads to New York City where she will attend art school. The series also debuts internationally on MTV channels worldwide beginning July 2011.

E! opened the season premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take New York on Sunday at 10p with more than 3 million total viewers and with a 1.95 rating among A18-49. Following at 1030p, the second season of Holly’s World debuted with more than 2 million total viewers and a 1.33 rating with A18-49.

Former MTV Networks’ production executives Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley established their own independent production company, DiGa. The new company formed a partnership with Ben Silverman’s studio Electus to create, develop and produce content across all platforms. DiGa is headquartered in New York City with a production and edit unit in Los Angeles. DiGa already has a collection of exclusive television projects in the works including a comedy format from Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment helmed by Amanda Diva; a fashion series with an interactive component from Jill Martin; three series with Jackhole Industries and other scripted and reality projects in development. Both DiSanto and Gateley will remain active with MTV Networks through their various series development commitments between MTV and DiGa. In addition, DiSanto and Gateley will continue as executive producers on the upcoming MTV series Teen Wolf. Furthermore, DiGa tapped producer Mike Powers as Creative Executive in charge of managing all production and development for DiGa’s projects and Scott Silberman as Executive in Charge of Production.

MTV granted a pilot order to columnist Dan Savage for an advice show. The pilot follows Savage during his visits to college campuses as he gives his honest perspective on relationships. Savage’s advice column, Savage Love runs in The Onion’s AV Club and he’s presently the editorial director of Seattle-based The Stranger.
