FOX is bringing back The Simpsons for a 23rd season, making the animated series the longest-running comedy in television history with a total of 515 episodes. FOX will also air the two-hour World Broadcast Premiere of The Simpsons Movie on November 25 at 8p. The Simpsons is produced by Gracie Films Production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Film Roman, a Starz Media Company is the animation company.

AMC decided to not offer its original series Rubicon a second season order. Produced by Warner Horizon Television, Rubicon first premiered on August 1. AMC released a statement about its verdict, “Rubicon gave us an opportunity to tell a rich and compelling story and we’re very proud of the series. This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a phenomenally talented and dedicated team.”
