Former Access Hollywood anchor Nancy O’Dell will move into the Substitute Co-Anchor and Special Correspondent position on Entertainment Tonight starting in January 2011. O’Dell will take over as Co-Anchor on the show after longtime Co-Anchor Mary Hart ends her final season in 2011. Hart, who has been Anchor on Entertainment Tonight since 1982, announced last August this will be her last season on the show produced and distributed by CBS Television Distribution. Mark Steines is also a Co-Anchor for the daily syndicated newsmagazine show.

The Style Network said Niecy Nash, host of its makeover series Clean House will soon be leaving the show. The final four episodes featuring Nash as host will air starting tonight. Additionally on December 1, the network will air a Clean House marathon finishing with Nash’s final episode as host of the series. The Style Network is also inviting Nash’s fans to submit their good-bye wishes to her via the website www.mystyle.com/cleanhouse, via Twitter @mystyle or on facebook.com/cleanhouse. Select messages to Nash will appear on her final December 1 episode. During the final four episodes and the marathon, viewers will also be given clues as to which celebrity will be joining the show in early 2011.

Veteran film reviewer and celebrity interviewer, Gene Shalit will leave his post on NBC’s Today as of this Thursday. Shalit originally joined Today in 1970 and has been a regular contributor for forty years. Shalit said through his public relations rep, “It’s enough already” and also said he would “pursue other activities” which encompass publishing, radio and commercials.
