BET Networks is readying a new docu-reality competition series, Changing Lanes premiering on September 1 at 8p. The series, in partnership with NASCAR will search for the next generation of minority and female racecar drivers. The eight-episode series will be narrated by rapper/actor Ludacris with the final winner receiving a spot on Max Siegel’s NASCAR Revolution Racing team. The contestants involved in the show are part of NASCAR’s driver development program called Drive for Diversity which offers opportunities for minority and female drivers to compete in the NASCAR arena. Changing Lanes is produced by BET Networks, NASCAR, NASCAR Media Group, 10 x 10 Entertainment and The 909 Group.

DIY Network features 90s pop star Vanilla Ice (aka Robert Van Winkle) and his passion for home renovation in The Vanilla Ice Project beginning October 14 at 9p. The half-hour 10-episode series follows the self-taught home renovator as he tackles his biggest project to-date, the overhaul of a six-bedroom, five-bath lake home in Palm Beach, FL. After the premiere on October 14, new episodes of The Vanilla Ice Project air on DIY Network each Thursday at 930p with encore episodes airing on Thursdays at 9p.

Billy Bush and Kit Hoover were tapped as co-hosts for the new first-run, syndicated entertainment news talk show Access Hollywood Live. Bush is currently the anchor on Access Hollywood and will also co-host NBC’s Red Carpet to the Primetime Emmy Awards pre-show special. Hoover was last seen as host of ABC’s reality show Shaq Vs. Access Hollywood Live from NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution, premieres September 13.
