Tonight, CNN is airing a special two-hour telethon on Larry King Live to benefit the Gulf oil spill tragedy relief called Disaster In the Gulf: How You Can Help starting at 8p. Celebrity guests making appearances include Justin Bieber, Deepak Chopra, Cameron Diaz, Philippe Cousteau, Ted Danson, Kathy Griffin, Chelsea Handler, Robert Redford, Richard Simmons and more. Funds raised from the telethon will be given to United Way, The National Wildlife Federation, and The Nature Conservancy.

On Thursday, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the 2011 list of celebrities who will receive recognition and a plaque on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. Television celebrities receiving this honor are Oprah Winfrey, Neil Patrick Harris, Danny DeVito, Tina Fey, Simon Fuller, John Langley, Ed O’Neill and John Wells. Also next year many other film stars and recording artists such as the Muppets, Penelope Cruz, Ed Harris, Gwyneth Paltrow and Melissa Etheridge will be honored.
