OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network announced nationwide auditions for its upcoming original competition series Your OWN Show: Oprah’s Search For The Next TV Star. Applicants, who are at least 21 years old, can audition online starting now through June 26 by uploading a three-minute audition video via Oprah.com. The website contains an editing toolkit with tips and techniques outlined by celebrities such as will.i.am, Lisa Ling and Peter Walsh with the goal to help contestants enhance their audition videos. Online submissions will be voted on by the public and the five contestants who receive the most online votes will be flown to Los Angeles to audition for Mark Burnett Productions. In-person auditions will also take place at four select Kohl’s Department Stores, the show’s presenting advertising partner, on June 5 in New York City; June 12 in Dallas; June 19 in Los Angeles; and June 26 in Atlanta.
