MTV announced it will not bring back its live afternoon talk show It’s On with Alexa Chung after the second season finale airs on December 17, cites Variety. The show came back on October 19 for a second season in a new 30m format at 330p after originally debuting last June as an hour-long show. MTV emphasized it will retain a studio-based, live pop culture show, featuring music and interviews and a retooled program will premiere in January. In the meantime, MTV will air repeats and specials in the time period. As for British TV personality Chung, her contract with MTV expires early next year and, to date, there are no plans for her to continue an on-air role with the network.
