CASTING CALL
Food Network approved a sixth season of The Next Food Network Star opening in 2010. The national search for professional and amateur chefs to become the network’s newest star begins July 8 in Phoenix, with more auditions happening July 12 in Chicago; July 17 in Austin; July 26 in San Francisco; July 31 in New York City; August 10 in Los Angeles; August 17 in San Diego; and August 24 in Atlanta. Candidates should bring an application, a photograph along with a resume and/or bio to meet the network’s casting directors. Those unable to attend an open casting call can submit a three-minute audition video describing why they should win the competition.
