Parenting.com seeks families that are headed by a single parent or two, to participate in a year-long financial analysis and makeover. Selected families would gain free advice and help from a personal financial advisor, who would review their expenses, savings and design a custom financial plan. Parenting.com would follow along during the year, writing articles and even allowing the family to blog about the experience. Family members would remain anonymous though photographs would be taken and the family would need to be open with personal financial information. Interested families should send an email to BDCcasting@gmail.com and include a description of the family, phone numbers, financial situation and challenges along with questions and the subject line “Money boot camp.” Parenting.com will conduct follow-up interviews.
