CASTING CALL
Taking a cue from its sister networks HGTV and Food Network, GAC and the artist development company Music Nation will host The Next GAC Star a national talent search for the next country music star.  Six participant finalists will be flown to Nashville and featured in a two-part special on Sept. 3rd and Sept. 10th and be involved in a live elimination process.  The winner will receive a record deal and a produced music video that will air on GAC.  Starting now through July 14, GAC will accept videos, mp3’s and photos at www.GACTV.com/Star.  Also starting this month, some music star hopefuls can audition live as the GAC Summer Tour Bus visits various cities through the summer.  All information on the talent search can be found at www.GACTV.com/Star.

Devin Zimmerman is working on a short-form series about people’s Christmas holiday traditions for a major cable network.  Traditions that fall in the interesting, fun or crazy categories, are of particular interest.  If you or someone you know has specific Christmas rituals surrounding advent calendars, holiday food, Christmas decorations/ornaments, gift giving or letters to Santa, send an e-mail with the description and your contact info to Devin@stickecreative.com. Participants must live in the Los Angeles area and not be shy about going on camera relating your family traditions.
